John McGovern To Speak on Business Valuation To Newton Group on November 17th
Newton Retirement Planning Club Meeting Notice
How Much is Your Business Worth
7:00 pm, Wed. Nov. 17, Trustees Room
Club members and the public are welcome to the regular meetings held on the 3rd Wednesday of every month starting at 7 pm in the Trustees Room of the Newton Library on 330 Homer Street, Newton, MA 02459.
Abstract: Your business is a living, breathing entity that grows when the right forces are applied to it. For every business, the right forces are different. Your business needs to be valued regularly to know your assets versus liabilities, ascertain asset values for loan, divorce and estate planning purposes, and etc. A business valuation performed by qualified professionals has the benefit of reducing uncertainty with respect to the issues of fairness, litigation defense and protection from taxing authorities who often challenge valuations that are not prepared with due professional care.
Presented by: Mr. John P. McGovern, CPA, ABV, CVA

If you do not take medical advice from anyone other than an MD, why should you settle your finance with anyone less than a CFA Charterholder and CFP Practitioner? (Why Choose a CFA® Charterholder?, Why Choose a CFP® Practitioner?) Thanks for your consideration, business, and referral.
