Lawrence B. Rice, CPA - Director of Strategic Consulting

Larry came to Rodman & Rodman in 2001 from Michigan where he was born and raised. A graduate of Michigan State University, he was a partner in a small, suburban Detroit CPA firm. He was a part of the firm for 18 years, until leaving for Boston and becoming a part of the Rodman team. He also achieved the distinction of passing the CPA examination upon his first sitting.

As the Director of Strategic Consulting Services, Larry’s mandate to client service is clear: Assisting clients in achieving their lifetime goals. His expertise lies in profit improvement strategies, performance measurement, information system analysis and improvement, strategic visioning and planning and a host of other disciplines designed to help the firm’s clients grow their businesses. Larry leads our monthly business owners’ group and conducts a variety of seminars throughout the year to help our clients focus their efforts at growing and becoming more profitable. He counts as his strengths the ability to listen to his clients and focus his strategies and recommendations to satisfy their true needs. To do so he recognizes each client’s situation as inherently unique.

In his time away from the office, Larry enjoys a variety of activities. Amongst them is a lifetime enjoyment of golf. He particularly enjoys traveling to warm weather destinations where snorkeling and sun filled relaxation are prominent. Relatively new to New England, he has also enjoyed discovering all the richness the region has to offer.
